John is in his second year volunteering as an engineer for the
robotics team.
John grew up in upstate
New York and went to Shenedehowa High School. He then
attended Clarkson University on a FIRST scholarship where he got
his degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME, Class of 2005).
John was involved in
FIRST as a high school participant for two years and as a college
mentor for all four years.
John was recruited to
come to Greenville where he now works as a Mechanical Engineer for
Innovation First, Inc. Lately he has been the primary
mechanical designer for the Vex Robotics Design System.
John has been involved
in FIRST since 2000, and has now participated as a high school
student, college mentor, and engineering mentor. It is
exciting for him to be able to give back to the program that has
helped him achieve so much. |
