Terri Galloway
Terri
Galloway has been an assistant coach for the Greenville High
School robotics team for approximately eight years.
Terri
taught 7th grade science at Greenville Middle School for 11 years.
She has been at GHS since 1998 and has taught Pre-AP Integrated
Physics and Chemistry, Pre-AP Chemistry 1, and Dual Credit
Chemistry through Paris Junior College.
Terri
holds the following degrees: an RN from Northwest Texas
Hospital School of Nursing, a BSN from West Texas State
University, and a M. Ed. and a M. Science from Texas A&M
University at Commerce.
In the
summer Terri participates on medical mission teams. She has
been an operating room nurse for an orthopedic surgeon in the
Ukraine for three different years. She has gone to gypsy
villages all over Romania for the past ten summers to work on a
dentistry team. Terri has also gone to the Chihuahua region
of Mexico every summer for the past ten years as a dental
assistant with a group out of Amarillo, Texas. Two summers
ago she was able to teach a biology lesson in both a primary and a
secondary school in Soweto, South Africa.
Terri
enjoys traveling all over the world. One of the greatest
sights that she has seen is the Great Wall of China. She has
been to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, which is one of the seven
wonders of the world. She enjoys seeing the sights and
meeting the people. Terri says it is hard to say where her
"most favorite" place in the world is because each place she
visits has its own unique characteristics and people.
Terri's favorite quote is, "Life is not measured by the number of
breaths that we take, but by the places and moments that take our
breath away." (Anonymous) Her favorite food is Diet Coke and
Pizza.
