Steve Maxwell

Steve Maxwell has been volunteering as an engineer for the robotics team for 10 years.

Previous to that he coached the Greenville High School Technical Team for Odyssey of the Mind (now called Destination Imagination).

He has an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of New Mexico (Albuquerque) and has worked for the Greenville Division of L-3 for 28 years.  He has experience as a Black Box Design Engineer, a Field Service Representative at RAF Mildenhall (UK), a Systems Engineer, and his current position is Project Engineer for RC-135 Programs.

Steve helped coach two sons (David and Jeremy, who are both Texas A&M graduates) on different Odyssey of the Mind teams.  David is now an Electrical Engineer helping with the current robotics team.  Jeremy is a professional Geologist.  Steve also helped coach daughter Brittany who was on the Robotics team.  Brittany graduated from Principia College in Illinois, and is now a professional Dancer and Instructor.  Steve's son Jason is also on the current robotics team.
