Dan Newell

Dan Newell is in his first year volunteering as an engineer for the robotics team.  His son Ben is a senior on the current robotics team.

Dan graduated from New Mexico State University with a BSEE degree and went straight to work for (then) E-Systems in the summer of 1986.  He has thoroughly enjoyed working for E-Systems/Raytheon/L-3 Communications as a digital hardware and embedded software designer for almost 20 years.

Dan volunteers as an "On-Deck Parent/Coach/Bus Driver" for the Greenville High School Swimming Team.

In his free-time, Dan loves boating, fishing, and extended hikes, way above the tree-line along the Colorado section of the Continental Divide Trail.
