1996-1997

Sponsored by Raytheon E-Systems and Greenville ISD, 25 students
and 11 engineers followed the objective to design and build a

Competition, "Torroid Terror." Team Greenville did
exceptionally well, walking away with 3rd place and with the
Proctor and Gamble Creativity Award at the Motorola Midwest
Regional in Chicago. Moving on to nationals in Florida,
competing against 130 other teams, Team Greenville returned home
as a Chairman's Award Finalist, with the WPI scholarship and the
Outstanding Defense award.
