Matt Mahrer is a senior at Greenville High School and is on his third year with the robotics team.  He is on the team not only because he is interested in the building process of the robot, but also because of the opportunities it has given him via the web site award.

Matt has been involved with Spanish Club for three years, the Foreign Language Association for three years, the Foreign Language Honor Society for three years, and the National Honor Society for two years.

He has earned the Best Web Site Award from FIRST in 2004 and numerous awards for his participation in the UIL Computer Applications academic competitions.  He has also been the recipient of the Superintendent Scholar and Principal Scholar awards on numerous occasions.

Matt is an organist at St. William Catholic Church.  He also manages his own web design business with such clients as Play It Again Antique Mall in Greenville.

Matt plans to attend Texas A&M University at College Station to pursue a career in broadcast meteorology.  His favorite food is pizza.
